Faculty Profile
Kim Taylor is an Instructor in the Department of Computer Science. Ms. Taylor earned a Master's of Science in Systems Science from Louisiana State University. Prior to that, Ms. Taylor graduated summa cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics.
During the past four summers, Ms. Taylor has served as the director for the ULM Explorers Camp. The one-week residential science and math program brings middle and high school students to ULM and raises awareness of the need for early academic and financial preparation for secondary education.
Since joining the ULM faculty in 1997, Ms. Taylor has taught a variety of courses including Discrete Mathematics, Introduction to Programming, Professional Ethics and Software Engineering. Ms. Taylor currently serves as the advisor for the local chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery.
